The Visitor Center of Lorca is located in the former Convent of La Merced of S. XVI. On its ground floor it hosts an exhibition about the history of Lorca. It also contains two very enjoyable audiovisuals about the municipality and Easter. You will also find a souvenir shop. It is the ideal place to start your visit to Lorca. It is ideal for groups, has a subsidized blue zone parking (ask at reception) and special parking for tourist buses.

The visitor will find a completely renovated museum from the development of a new musealization, with which it has tried to enhance unity and clarity in the expository discourse, from the thread generated by the traces left by our ancestors in this territory for 30,000 years. There are different spaces where the selected pieces are shown having seismoresistant criteria that guarantee their safety and that of the visitors.

muBBla is the Embroidery Museum of Paso Blanco, one of the brotherhoods of Holy Week in Lorca. The monumental complex of the convent of Santo Domingo houses the museum (in the old church of Santo Domingo) and the Chapel of the Rosary. The handmade embroidery in silk and gold is an official candidate for Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. In the Chamber of Wonders you will see 6 of the first embroidered BICs in Spain, which are the mantle of the Virgin of the Bitterness and its canopy, along with the Prayer in the Garden banner (in 2018 it is 100 years old). In the annex Chapel of the Rosary are the religious images that accompany the Virgin of the Bitterness during the processions of Lorca: San Juan, Christ in the Prayer in the Garden and the Veronica.

The tradition of Lorca embroidery, candidate for UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage, is the main protagonist, along with the image of the Stma. Virgen de los Dolores, from this museum. Therefore, you will have the privilege of admiring the process of creating these works of art, some of them declared B.I.C. (Well of cultural interest), in the embroidery workshop on the second floor. The Blue Museum of Holy Week welcomes in a historic building, the old Charity Hospital of San Juan de Dios, a broad and representative sample of the best of the heritage of the Brotherhood of Labradores (Paso Azul). As well as a tour of the history of this brotherhood in Holy Week Lorca (declared a festival of International Tourist Interest). Recently restored and inaugurated, this museum has three completely accessible floors dedicated to offer a vision of this brotherhood through its embroideries, the workshop, stunning audiovisuals and images of the history of Paso Azul. From Monday to Friday, you can visit the embroidery workshop.

El ciuFRONT Museo Medieval de Lorca surge de una iniciativa de la Federación San Clemente de Lorca con la misión de conservar, exponer y enriquecer el conjunto de las colecciones y obras de arte que, estrechamente vinculadas a la historia medieval de España y a las conmemoraciones de la historia de Lorca con motivo de las Festividades de San Clemente, constituyen una de las más destacadas manifestaciones culturales de la ciudad. En 2008 se realizan los primeros montajes temporales del ciuFRONT de modo que se convierte en un museo de presencia transitoria en diferentes edificios emblemáticos de Lorca. El 19 de diciembre de 2018 el Excmo. Sr. Alcalde de la Ciudad de Lorca firma carta de compromiso de cesión de la antigua Iglesia de Santa María la Mayor como sede principal del museo y el 6 de mayo de 2019 la Junta de Gobierno de la Federación San Clemente, a propuesta de su Presidente el Ilmo. Sr. Don Luis Antonio Torres del Alcázar, aprueba por unanimidad la creación jurídica del museo como institución. A lo largo de ese tiempo, el museo ha desarrollado un modelo ejemplar en el que la Federación, ciudadanía y las instituciones públicas han determinado su configuración y crecimiento, a través de importantes proyectos culturales, donaciones y cesión de obras que han estructurado los núcleos principales de las colecciones y su crecimiento continuo.

El Museo del Belén se ubica en la Ermita de San Roque y San Sebastián, en pleno barrio medieval de Lorca. Abre sus puertas en Navidad para contemplar las mejores escenografías realizadas por la Asociación Belenísta de Lorca. Son de admirar las grandes maquetas hebreas y costumbristas alusivas a los principales edificios artístiticos de Lorca y los singulares monumentos de época de Jesús.
